Here’s a quick look at what’s currently in progress across our helmet and armor projects.
Darth Revan Armor - Star Wars
The current stage is press mold production. We’re placing filler material into the printed negatives, which are used to form the future press molds.
We also conducted a fitting of several costume elements. We needed to check the hardware, the ribbed leather element connecting the two parts of the torso armor, and two hood versions. Based on the fitting, we determined what adjustments need to be made to the sewn parts.
Next, we’ll finish the press molds and make the necessary adjustments to the patterns.
NCR Elite Riot Gear Costume - Fallout
We printed the negatives for the parts that will be formed. We also partially printed the models for the parts that will later be cast.
Pulse Blade Pilot Armor - Titanfall 2
We’re now finishing the second version of the costume while also correcting several details on both versions.
We decided to add a second, battle-damaged version of the costume, and it’s nearly complete.
We made several changes to both versions. The thigh armor is now narrower to better match the canonical shape. We added internal support to the shemagh so it holds its shape like in the references. We also replaced the footwear with a more canonical version.
We made several smaller changes as well: added a few straps and graphic elements, replaced some of the webbing with a more suitable material, and replaced the wire harness and the chem lights.
